I am Georgi Veselinov, a Senior SAP FICO Expert with over 20 years of hands-on experience. I work with Bulgarian businesses and international companies operating on the Bulgarian market, helping them make SAP work the way their business actually works.

SAF-T is the new standard audit file that large Bulgarian companies are required to submit to the tax authorities in XML format. From January 2027, the next wave of Bulgarian companies will be required to submit SAF-T — a standard audit file in XML format — to the National Revenue Agency. If your company runs SAP, you are almost certainly in this wave.
